The Katherine Thomas School seeks to hire a special education teacher for an early education classroom. This classroom uses a Developmental Model of Education which analyzes each child's individual development. Responsibilities include: Develop instruction following the Maryland Voluntary State Curriculum providing necessary accommodations to meet individual, group, and program needs, write and implement IEPs, create a supportive learning environment, create and implement behavior plans, and create partnerships with parents and the Katherine Thomas School Community.
This position is for the 2013-2014 school year. Part-time or Full-time position available.
Bachelors degree in Early Education, Special Education.
Maryland Special Education Teaching certificate in early childhood (required)
